Josh Sugarman began writing for the screen while working as a young political staffer in Boston. It wasn’t until years later, when he was half-way through his law school tenure, that he began focusing on a career in film, cross-enrolling in Columbia University’s MFA program and later foregoing a legal career to co-found YaSu Media and direct TROPHY KIDS, his feature directorial debut. Recently, Josh wrote and directed the upcoming cartoon satire series MAN MAN BEAVER starring Tom Arnold. He’s also producing ensemble drama OUTLIVING EMILY starring Olympia Dukakis, Thomas Mann and Zosia Mamet and HOW TO PICK UP GIRLS! in association with The Exchange and Richard Branson’s Virgin Produced. On the non-moving side, his photos have been carried in national publications like the NEW YORK TIMES. He’s a graduate of Brandeis University and Columbia University’s School of Law and currently splits time between Los Angeles & New York.  He’s represented by Bohemia Group.

You can e-mail him .  And find him on IMDB.  Also, he tweets.
